| So my dad got me this new laptop..surprised me really. This is how he kinda put it across Dad: Julia, do you have something to tell us(mum and himself) Me (stares blankly): Uh..no. Dad: Really...? Me (and now i started to get annoyed): NO lar. why? Dad: Just kidding, i got you a new laptop. You dont see the flow in the conversation do you? Neither do i. But it was a pleasant surprise i have to say. I have dreamed of having my own laptop for months. It rids the hecticness of logging into a really slow com/laptop and having all your stuff (both private and not) exposed to god knows who. Fighting with my siblings to use the com is now no more (dad said quite firmly that it was MY laptop..hehe). Yeah, it feels good. The laptop is really cool, not a mac sadly but a real hardy one. Webcam equiped, i can now have skype conversations at ease. Problem is, Windows Vista is really confusing. Installing the wireless took like ages for my poor dad, but it was all worth is i guess. I am realllly happy. Really.
Belated Good luck to all those who are racing at Triathlon today. Be strong and please drink lots of water, dont want anybody to collapse k. | | |
| Heh people..my blog was long dead so now instead of reviving blogger i am going to use xanga instead though no promises it wont be dead sooner or later.
So. I just came from cross trg at mac. Slacked off with Grace. When Mr Quek asked me whether i wanted to run Northern route or with grace, i proudly said..with grace;) We went on this super funny "nature walk" thingy, instead of running in the jungle we walked onto the board walk and did a slow jog/walk to enjoy macritchie like we have never done before. We did this to create a sense of apathy for Mother Nature. Yar right. Well, thanks grace for accompanying me on this ultra slack trg. Gis, you missed out much girl! too bad. Over sleep again lar!
Hope that there is no swimming trg later so that i can slack of before heading for stupid chinese tuition.
